Ally attended Prom this weekend with her boyfriend Nick. It was at a much smaller school than West High so they have a “Grand March” that allows the parents to come and take pictures while the kids walk a runway. West High Prom is on May 2 so check back for a wardrobe change….

Forgive me blog for I have sinned; it has been way too long since I have posted but the wait will be well worth it. We have had a lot going on in our lives. In fact, today we have a prom, solo contest, musical rehearsal and a dinner. So why did Paul and I spend our Friday night dress shopping – for him? If you’ve ever seen the movie Hairspray, imagine Paul playing John Travolta’s part and singing in a nightgown AT CHURCH! For the past couple of years Paul has been the Emcee for the annual High School choir fundraising concert. This year’s theme is Broadway Live so he decided there needed to be some Hairspray songs. Also, since this is Ally’s last year why not make it memorable? He and another parent are actually Emceeing together as the Producers but will end with a song from Hairspray (complete with a wardrobe change). If your intrigued, the concert is at St. Andrew Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19. Watch for more to come – especially pictures!
